The goal of this website is to improve clinicians' reliability in their use of the Autism Mental Status Exam (AMSE). To attain such a goal, we have created this online AMSE training curriculum, which comprises:
The MANUAL: Illustrations and scoring instructions for each of the 8 AMSE items.
The TRAINING CURRICULUM: A didactic "EXPERT EXPLAINS" video and "4 TRAINING CASES" for which we filled out an AMSE to show you how it is done.
Two POST-TESTS let you score a clinical vignette and a video vignette by entering your scores. You’ll see the correct scores to compare to yours.
